| This is by far one of the wierdest movies I've seen in a long time, both visually and just plot-wise. I don't think I've ever read a Dr. Seuss book but that guy must have been on some serious acid. I don't know if I'm gonna want to watch it again though. Of course, Mike Myers and Alec Baldwin are always great. |
| True to Dr. Seuss form, this movie was really wild. The colors were really vivid and the Cat and other characters and scenery look exactly like they should. The first time I started watching this movie, I was turned off by the rhyme talking in the intro and actually stopped watching it but if you just leave it on long enough for the movie to really start, it's really quite funny and entertaining. Very well cast as Mike Myers is perfect for this role and really gets to show off a lot of his talent and once again, Alec Baldwin plays a totally different character than usual. Great graphics and I really enjoyed the adaptation although I did think it was missing a bit of action and excitement and I wasn't really pulled in by the movie overall. Therefore I'm only giving it a 7. |

to Remember
"I'm not going to military school." -"Oh, I think you're gonna love it! It's just like summer camp, except with brutal forced marches and soul-crushing discipline." "Here she is, the Super Luxurious Omnidirectional Whatchamajigger, or S-L-O-W for short." -"S-L-O-W?" -"Yeah, S.L.O.W. It's better than the last thing we had: Super Hydraulic Instantaneous Transporter." -"Oh, you mean..." -"NO! Quick! To the S.L.O.W.!"
